The unique decor and cozy atmosphere really made my stay special, especially with the fantastic soaking pool and quirky themed bars to unwind in. The breakfast was delicious and delivered right to my room with no extra charge, which was such a nice touch! I did notice the WiFi was a bit spotty, but that didn’t take away from my overall experience. 😊

It was just an optimal selection for a city break in Portland with good value for price. The brewery offered amazing handcrafted beers, each uniquely flavorful. Remember to check out the theater for a fun evening.

A Unique Stay with Room for Improvement
We thoroughly enjoyed our night, especially the maxed-out gaming experience at the Boiler Room bar. The king room offered a cozy atmosphere, and the neighborhood provided picturesque walks. However, the chaotic pool scene detracted from our experience. Consider visiting the Courtyard for breakfast!

We loved spending time at the Lloyd Center Mall, especially the indoor skating rink. It was a fantastic way to bond with the family. The hotel’s quirky design and historic charm made our stay memorable. Dad really enjoyed it!
My kids wished the pool was more family-friendly. It gets crowded and rowdy, making it less appealing for a relaxing swim.

The converted school offers a unique atmosphere with fascinating art and elegant decor that reflects its history. Enjoying a delicious salad with fresh vegetables and a warm hummus plate enhanced my dining experience. The staff’s helpfulness, including returning my forgotten item at no charge, added a nice touch. However, the noise level in the hallways at night could be disruptive, and I wished for more quiet moments during my stay. All in all, a memorable experience worth repeating.

Cool vibe, but pricey dining
The spot has this super chill atmosphere and the bar area is a fun hangout. Loved the beautiful gardens outside, perfect for unwinding. My room was huge, but no coffee maker? Bummer! Also, the food was way overpriced—$9 for a tiny Eggs Benedict? Yikes! Overall, not the best food choices.

would love to come back
The room was super spacious with high ceilings and hardwood floors. It had air conditioning, a private bathroom, and loads of toiletries like body soap and shampoo. Liked the cool chalkboard wall too! The hot tub was a nice warm spot to chill after a long day. The onsite bars were also fantastic, each with a quirky vibe and great drink options.

i had a fantastic stay at mcmenamins kennedy school. they allowed us to check in early at 9:30 am, which was a lifesaver since my sister was feeling unwell. the indoor pool was quaint and peaceful, and i loved the valuable artwork throughout the building. we also enjoyed a delicious flight of cider and beer from their bar. it’s a unique and charming place!

I stayed in a King English no pets room for one night. The room was clean and had this cool chalkboard feature, which was a fun touch. But, the size was questionable. it was smaller than I expected, and it felt cramped with the king bed barely fitting. My view wasn’t great either—just looked out at a wall. It was also a bit noisy, I could hear folks in the hallway pretty clearly. The vibe of the hotel was cool, but the room itself? Not ideal for comfort.
